Blaire Palmer knows leadership. As a producer on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme she met the powerful business leaders shaping the news. Then as a corporate coach, speaker and author she has developed an impressive authority on what it means to lead a modern business. With three successful books (and another one the way), Blaire is well-placed to help us understand the challenges, choices and approaches available to anyone aspiring to be a truly effective leader.

Blaire joined the Meaning 2016 panel discussion to explore the need to redefine what we mean by leadership in business, politics and society as we move away from command and control, towards a fairer and more participative way of organising.

The panel was hosted by Paul Mason and included co-leader of the Green Party Jonathan Bartley, director of Class think tank Faiza Shaheen and self-management pioneer Paul Green Jr.
