We live in an age of platform capitalism. Power increasingly sits in the hands of online monopolies like Amazon, Uber and Airbnb, who dictate the terms of business to those who supply services or products.

Felix Weth is the founder of Fairmondo – a transparent, web-based co-operative where all kinds of products are bought and sold. And Fairmondo is growing – not by morphing into an online giant, but by seeking to replicate and collaborate in more locations internationally. Interviewed by our host Paul Mason Felix introduces us to the concept of the platform co-op: a connected marketplace where the technology, power and profit lie in the hands of its users.
