Jonathan Bartley co-leads the Green Party alongside Brighton Pavilion MP Caroline Lucas – a unique approach within British politics. Jonathan can help us understand the pressures of leading a values-driven organisation working in a space dominated by more traditional alternatives. His passion for social justice shines through from his previous position as the Green Party’s work and pensions spokesperson, and in his campaigning with the Electoral Reform Society and the Yes to Fairer Votes movement.

Jonathan joined the Meaning 2016 panel discussion to explore the need to redefine what we mean by leadership in business, politics and society as we move away from command and control, towards a fairer and more participative way of organising.

The panel was hosted by Paul Mason and included director of Class think tank Faiza Shaheen, leadership consultant and author Blaire Palmer and self-management pioneer Paul Green Jr.
