Californian tomato processing company Morning Star has been described as ‘the world’s most creatively managed company’. Since 1990 it has operated at increasing scale, using the principles of self-management across its now 2,400-person organisation.

Paul Green Jr. is the co-founder of the Morning Star Self-Management Institute, which equips employees with the skills and strategies needed to thrive in Morning Star’s unique and innovative organisational system.

A passionate voice for autonomy in the workplace and its ability to enable humans to flourish, Paul believes the inherent dark side of hierarchical control also results in significant commercial disadvantage. Watch his Meaning 2016 talk below. And his contribution to our panel discussion on leadership here.
